With Quiet Admiration

The lines forming the prints on my fingers
Intriguing, insightful, implicit; small in comparison
Soft, soothing, warmth radiating from fire in the sky
Aesthetic, architectural structures above me assert themselves
Gardens filled with roses, chrysanthemums, tulips, lilies,
gerbera, freesia, and carnations

Immaculate beauty, small in comparison to you.

  1. Like the new poem :) Quick question though about the inclusion of chrysanthemums, I feel like it flows a little better without that word. But at the same time, it's a cool flower name. And I dunno if you have a certain attachment to that flower or not, because if you do, then I say by all means keep it. Hope you don't mind the little critique, if you do, I'll just shut up. Haha

  2. I have absolutely no attachment to those flowers. I don't really like flowers but if I were to compare someone to flowers, they'd be beautiful because most people find them beautiful. And, I like it there, haha. But I have no problem with critiques.

  3. Oh ok cool. And I'm the author's/artist intent is always interesting to me, and would I be right in guessing that this is a poem about the greatness of God compared to man? Or is that way way off?

  4. Well you could compare it to God but in this case it's directed towards a person
