Never in love with you

A dolphin with one fin

Made me want to sing

Opened my eyes

Absolutely no lies
So many cries
I walk in contradiction
This life is fiction
A dream within a dream
Reality isn’t what it seems
I will love again
I will never love at all
I will live in fear
Will I ever live at all?
Love the contrast of the thoughts going back and forth in this one
ReplyDeletedon't you sometimes love something but hate it all at once? or have realizations that you have moments when you enjoy something and then moments when you don't? I feel like we all live in contradiction a lot of the time. It's not the focus of this poem but you know what I'm saying.
